L.O.V.E. Art Applications

Please Read this page before submitting your 

L.O.V.E. Art Exhibition Application


Follow these guidelines for submitting all work.  We will only consider applications which follow these guidelines:


L.O.V.E. Art Artists may submit no more than 3 works with an Admission fee required of £10 for one work, £15 for two and £20 for three works


Works are acceptable in all formats and forms, 2D, 3D, Performance, Audio/Visual are all welcome.


Please include as much information as possible in your application.


Please only submit work which is already complete or that you are confident you can finish in time for the exhibition.


Your work must not contain any 18+ material in either images or language.


We cannot accept applications received after the deadline.

How to Submit Your Application:


Send a maximum of 3 images of your work (small file sizes only) by the closing date, it must be ready and delivered to LCB Depot on the Hand In Date.


IMPORTANT - All works must be ‘For Sale’ and please consider that there is a 20% commission taken from each sale (on-line and on site), so price your work accordingly. Any works not for sale will be rejected.


IMPORTANT - All works must be ‘ready to hang’, whether that is framed, fitted with mirror plates or some other suitable permanent fixing. Any works not suitable for hanging or not secure enough to hang will not be exhibited.


If your artwork requires any special hanging instructions and/or equipment please specify this in your application and attach those fixtures and fittings to the artwork at hand in.


Hand In Dates: Applications are Closed


All works (once approved) must be submitted in person/or by registered post and must be delivered to LCB Depot, Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE


Photographs will be taken of the show and artworks for publicity, please specify if you want to opt out of any publicity.


Collection Dates: Applications are Closed


You may also make arrangement for us to post your work back to you. If you wish to do this, we will require the correct postage and packaging costs to be paid in advance. You may wish to consider handing us stamped addressed packaging when initially handing work to us to ensure a quicker return delivery.


Any works uncollected, or which have been submitted without paying the correct administration fee, or do not have suitable secure hanging systems, or that are not for sale, will not be exhibited/and after a reasonable time will unfortunately have to be destroyed if not collected upon request.


L.O.V.E. Art and the Exhibiting Venues will do their up-most to protect all artworks, however, we will not be held liable for any damages, loss or theft of artworks.


If you require insurance this needs to be arranged by the artist.


Small Print

  • Completing an application for L.O.V.E. Art does not guarantee work submitted will be accepted for the exhibition(s).
  • All works submitted will be curated and selected/rejected by the L.O.V.E. Art Selection Panel. The Selection Panel is selected by the Board for each exhibition, and will comprise independent volunteer art sector peers, occasionally Guest Curator(s) and at least one previous L.O.V.E. Art Prize Winner. 
  • L.O.V.E. Art Prize Winners are selected by the Prize Judges which are compromised of the Prize Sponsors and/or the Board. 
  • The Board, the Selection Panel & the Prize Judge's decisions are final.
  • Application Fees are non-refundable.

  • L.O.V.E. Art is a not-for-profit organisation that relies on the voluntary contribution of its Board Members.
  • Income and Sponsorship Funds are received as: exhibition application fees, external grant funding, external sponsor funding, external sponsor in-kind support, external sponsor non-monetary prizes, volunteer in-kind support, commission fees from exhibition sales and membership fees. 
  • All of the above are variable in their values/rates depending on the grant giver, sponsor, funder, venue, exhibition, etc. and shall not be unreasonable for either members, or the organisation.
  • All funds, in-kind support and non-monetary prizes are used to enact the Purposes of L.O.V.E. Art as identified in the constitution and/or are presented as prizes to L.O.V.E Art Prize Winners.
  • Any remaining funds after each exhibition is completed and all prizes have been issued are used to set up the next L.O.V.E. Art Exhibition programme
